NPP Regional Election, All Eyes on Ashanti Region as Minister Confirms Expunged of Juaben and Mampong from Election.

Political experts, researchers, and the general public have disclosed that the ongoing election will be very tough in the Ashanti Region.

 The New Patriotic Party (NPP) is partaking in's regional elections today May 28th, 2022 in some regions in the country. Political experts, researchers, and the general public have disclosed that the ongoing election will be very tough in the Ashanti Region.

Explaining that, a lot of issues have been raised in the region regarding the polling station and the constituency elections which ended a few weeks ago. "I don't agree with the decision of the party leadership and the court for letting the Fomena constituency partake in the ongoing election in the Ashanti region' the party leadership has been unfair to New Patriotic party faithfuls in the Fomena constituency who supported the NPP preferred candidate, Mr. Philip Ofori Asante (POFA) in the 2020 general election. We feel betrayed and rejected by the party leadership", this was disclosed by a resident in Fomena in an engagement with Soireenews.

However, Juabeen and Mampong have been expunged from the ongoing election in the Ashanti Region but the heat is still on. Scores predicted the banning of Fomena from the ongoing election due to Kumasi high court's pending case regarding unsatisfaction but, information gathered by soireenews indicates that Fomena constituencies delegates are part of delegates to confirm the various persons vying for positions in the Ashanti region. However, the Ashanti regional minister honorable Simon Osei Mensah has confirmed to the media the expunged of Juaben and Mampong making the case clear that Fomena is partaking in the ongoing election.

Meanwhile, the race between the incumbent chairman, Bernard Antwi Boasiako (Chairman Wontumi), and Odeneho Kwaku Appiah (COKA) has made the election taught in the Ashanti among other regions.
