He picked the number two on the ballot on Monday June 27, 2022 during a balloting session for members of the NPP who have put themselves up for various positions ahead of the national executive elections, slated for July 15, 2020 in Accra.

Contesting for the General Secretary position of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), one of the leading contenders who is affable, submissive, transparent, visible, and innovative, Mr. Iddrisu Musah Superior has picked number two on the ballot paper.

He picked the number two on the ballot on Monday, June 27, 2022, during a balloting session for members of the NPP who have put themselves up for various positions ahead of the national executive elections, slated for July 15, 2020, in Accra.

After the exercise, Mr. Musah expressed gratitude to almighty Allay as he described the number as the viable weapon to complete the party to Break the 8 jinxes in the 2024 general elections

He, however, called on the delegates of the NPP to look out for the number two on the ballot on the elections day and vote massively for him to win the day, stressing that "I’m the only candidate with the requisite track record to help NPP to break the eight cycle rules come 2024”

Mr. Musah believes that the number two was a perfect number that represents peace and unity he campaigning to bring to the NPP to help retain the power in the 2024 and let the National Democratic Congress (NDC) which bad manager of the national economy be in the opposition for a long time.

Additionally, Mr. Musah explained that his name on the 2 positions on the ballot paper stands for his ten key plans to lead NPP as General Secretary to ensure the provision of GH¢ 10.000.00 business development capital package for each of four thousand, six hundred and seventy-five (4,675) NPP constituency executive in two hundred and seventy-five constituencies (275) in the country.

He continued that the 4th position on the ballot paper also represents his visionary plans to establish a viable Business Development Unit within the NPP to give business support to the hard-working members of the party, particularly those in the grassroots levels country when the delegates vote for him massively to win the slot.

According to Mr. Musah, who doubles as a former Mayor for Tamale and the current Deputy Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for Forestry Commission, he has the vision to set up an effective Business Development Unit of the party which would serve as one of the NPP grassroots members empowerment initiatives

To this end, he, therefore, appealed to delegates of the NPP to vote for him to ensure the transformation of the structures and foundations of the NPP.
