The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has said it is ready to work together with the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the upcoming Parliament during a News Conference in Accra on Tuesday.

 According to Mr John Boadu, the General Secretary of the party,  the minority in the 2021 Parliament to echos the ‘skirt and blouse’ decision of the people of Ghana.

This he believes indicates that Ghanaians wants to see both political parties work together.

 ‘’We will, therefore, work with the minority to reflect the interest of the people’’.

Going forward, Mr Boadu has assured that the NPP will sit-up in its next administration in order to prevent a similar situation from re-occurring.

The General Secretary said the opposition party should file their grievances in court and not the streets.  He also added that the victory of the Party reflected the desire of Ghanaians to have the Akufo-Addo-led administration to govern the nation for the second term.

“We, the NPPs have set up a transitional team as demanded by the Constitution to work for the nation and we shall not be distracted by anyone,” he said
