Northern Regional Police Command commemorate Memorial Day

The Northern Regional Police Command has held a Memorial Day for their men who died in the line of duty.

 According to the Regional Police Commander, COP Mr Timothy Yoosa Bonga affirmed that if an officer dies while on duty, the disaster should not serve as a discouragement to others for the reason that their responsibility is to serve humanity.

In addition, they are ready to serve the people and the community and always appeal to the people to give them creditable information to fight crime.

He assured that police will continue to fight crime in the region till there is total peace adding that they will ensure the safety of their officers and make sure the needed logistics are ascertained.

This day is to remember their gallant police officers who die in the line of duty.
