Basic schools officially reopened today, Monday as announced by His Excellency, Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo-Addo across the country during his 21st Nation address before the confirmation of it on his 22nd nation addresses last night.

A visit to most of the schools after his 22nd nation's address in the Eastern region have shown that government is yet to provide Personal Protective Equipment (PPEs) to the school authorities.

Although headmasters declined to conduct an interview with SoireeNews yet it was observed that all basic school pupils wore nose/face masks but during class hours of today January 18, 2021, no veronica buckets were spotted in any of the primary schools.
