Fast-rising Nigerian actor, Timini Egbuson, has taken to social media to call for a nationwide lockdown on Valentine’s Day.

The movie personality made this call in a tweet he shared on his official Twitter page on Wednesday, January 20, 2020.

According to Timini, there should be a nationwide 24hour-lockdown on February 14, as a way of preventing a foreseeable exponential spread of Covid-19, since a lot of lovers would be hanging out with their partners all over the country.

He tweeted:  “We need a full national 24 hours lockdown on Valentine’s Day. This thing don dey spread too much”

And when a follower commented “I mean we’re in the middle of a panoramic and you people want to be doing love??? Let’s be serious”, Timini replied “it’s irresponsible.

Valentine's Day is set to hold on the 14th of February and some lovers have been flooding social media with some romantic moments they've had with their lovers.
