Nigeria Police Arrests EndSARS Protesters In Lagos

The Police in Lagos State are arresting EndSARS protesters at the Lekki toll gate.

One of them has been identified as Okechukwu Peter.

His phone was seized.

"Remember those that were killed last year”, he screamed as officers took him away.

Another man dressed in a green and red Kangor outfit was thrown inside a black maria.

He earlier complained that the police were suppressing the right of Nigerians to demonstrate.

Hundreds of stern-looking operatives are keeping watch around Lekkk, Ikoyi and Victoria Island, according to Daily Post.

There has been no report of violence while traffic is moving slowly along the toll gate corridor.

However, the State’s Commissioner of Police, Hakeem Odumosu had earlier today said the command would deploy all legitimate means to stop or neutralise the planned protests to mark #EndSARS anniversary.
