Nigeria has confirmed that 40 people were killed in a church attack.
According to him, there were 127 individuals in the church at the time of the incident.

At least 40 people were killed in an incident in Owo, Nigeria's Ondo State, on Sunday, according to area governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu.
Authorities had previously stated that 22 persons had perished.
The governor added in a statement that 61 persons had been admitted to local hospitals for treatment and that 26 had been discharged.
According to him, there were 127 individuals in the church at the time of the incident.
He went on to say that the government would create a memorial park to honor the victims of the attack.
