Akyem Pramkese is a farming community located in the Kwaebibirim municipality of Eastern region with about five thousand (5,000) inhabitants living with gratitude to the Almighty God.

History indicates that the community was formed in 1896 with a lot of social amenities that lifted the good image of the town.

 But according to the chief of Pramkese Barima Ofori Frimpong II, he noted that although their main road is motorable, some few amenities like the CHIPS centre which was constructed in the 70s needs a facelift.

He revealed that because Kade is the head of the Municipality, almost all the administration and offices have been built there which doesn't portray the decentralization process and in his humble opinion pleaded to the president of the Republic of Ghana H.E Nana Addo Dankwah Akuffo-Addo to keep an eye on their decentralization policy.

Mrs Alberta Adofo Adjei who was nominated by the Pramkese Aduana / Ebenezer clan headed by Abusuapaning Kwaku Abeka at a gathering of chiefs, elders and opinion leaders in the community approved and confirmed her nomination during the ceremony at Pramkese.

She was therefore enstooled formally as the first queen mother of the Ebenezer clan with her title name Nana Akyaa Adjei.

Speaking to the press at the ceremony, she, first of all, thank the Lord, chief, elders and also the entire community for great support.

Nana Akyaa Adjei 1 Queen mother of Aduana / Ebenezer clan of Pramkese reiterated that she is going to work in hand with the chief of the area to bring developments to the town.

She asserted that it is her vision to advocate against teenage pregnancy and also since she is a Hospital Technician at the Presbyterian Hospital in New York USA, she will make sure the long-serving CHIPS centre for the community is renovated.

In an interview with SoireeNews, she stated that the physical condition at the maternity ward at  Pramkese Health  Centre,  which also serves almost ten surrounding villages is very bad and needed support and rehabilitation by the Regional administration, Koforidua.

In her remarks, Nana Akyaa Adjei remained very optimistic to deliver perfection as she has been enstooled as the Aduana / Ebenezer clan Hemaa.
