The Member of Parliament for Ekumfi Constituency in the Central Region, Honourable Abeiku Crentsil has urged the youth in the Muslim Communities to eschew evil and be exempted from the ploy of politicians.

He disclosed that residents in Muslim communities have always been attached to unscrupulous lifestyle which does not speak good of the religion due to their association of some Ghanaian politicians for gains.

Speaking to Central Regional Soireenews Correspondent, Honourable Abeiku Crentsil explained that peace has being the key element between the Christians and Muslims all this while in the Ekumfi Constituency of the Central Region yet Islamic youth have always been identified with ruthless lifestyles which brings the name of Allah into disrepute.

He has therefore challenged them to take advantage of the just ended Ramadan festivity to transform their lives to speak well of Muslims in every area of life.

The Legislator spoke on the need for Ghana to be united and prayed that Islam and Christianity aim at promoting peace and prosperity among each other therefore nothing should be a distraction to the harmony between them. He urged all Ghanaians to remember the country in prayers for the sustenance of love to always be demonstrated among peers regardless of one's religious background.

The chief Imam of Ekumfi Emuna, Ibrahim Mensah also advised the youth to be hardworking and avoid various vices which shames the name of Islam.
