Bullet has lashed out at Netflix for using Wendy Shay's track without permission.

He noted that even though the movie has been removed, he and his artiste still feel disrespected because Netflix allowed theft of intellectual property to happen under its watch.

“The movie is no longer on Netflix. Nevertheless, we did not hear from the producers of the Netflix movie."

"It is unfortunate that a lot of people do not understand intellectual property and copyright stuff — they said Wendy Shay should be grateful her song is being used in a Netflix movie."

"I am expecting royalties from Netflix. Netflix should get it right that we are not happy they used my song without my consent.” He affirmed.

This comes after Wendy Shay had initially called out the Netflix movie "Slay" for using her track without paying her any royalties.

She had taken to her Instagram account to warn Netflix and the producers to either pay royalties or face the consequences.

If it turned out to be a full-scale war between Rufftown Records and Netflix, the Ghanaian based record label is sure to have the support of the tire entertainment industry in Ghana.

As the industry is fighting a similar battle on all sides against theft of intellectual property.

With individuals and random corporations using the material of artists without paying them due respect.

Netflix is yet to respond.
