NDC Suspends Party Executives

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has suspended some party executives numbering up to ten (10) including, chairman in the Daboya-Mankarigu constituency of the Savannah Region 

In a notice issued by the constituency secretary, Gazari Muniru indicated the suspension of the Constituency Chairman Alhaji Yahaya Mohammed Mutala and other polling stations Executives.

The notice captured alleged gross misconduct of such individuals during the 2020 general elections.

The notice which was sighted by Soireenews.com reporter Abdul Sammed Gurundari stated that “the Constituency Executive Committee of the NDC in the Daboya Mankarigu Constituency has suspended with immediate effect some party executives following their anti-party conduct during the just ended Presidential and Parliamentary elections which are against Article 40 of the party’s constitution.

SUSPENSION OF SOME PARTY EXECUTIVES 15/03/2021

The Constituency Executive Committee of the NDC in the Daboya/Mankarigu constituency has suspended with immediate effect some executives of the party following their anti-party activities and conduct during the just ended Presidential and Parliamentary elections.

The decision was taken pursuant to Article 40 of the party’s constitution at a meeting held on January 2nd, 2021, following reports and a petition from some members of the party.

The said individuals have therefore been referred to the Disciplinary Committee of the party in accordance with the constitution of the party.

They include;

Alhaji Yahaya Mohammed Mutala, Constituency Chairman

Sulemana Mohammed Jak, Executive committee member

Achulo Damba Ashagu, Coopted Member

Issahaku Takora, Branch Communication Officer

Nuhu Washibu, Branch Communication Officer

Issah Alidu,Branch Organizer

Mahama Shaibu, Branch Youth Organizer

Oldman Moru, Branch Communication Officer

Thomas Bahie Forgtah, Branch Secretary

Mohammed Alidu, Branch Organizer

Attah Hardi, Branch Communication Officer

Their membership of the party has been suspended with immediate effect pending the hearing and final determination by the Disciplinary Committee.
