NDC Parliamentary Primary: Elect Competent Candidate Like Myself To Win Awutu Senya East Seat For NDC In 2024 Polls-Dina Tetteh Urges Delegates As She Files Nomination Forms

Mrs. Dina Tetteh, a 47- year-old Ghanaian young female politician on Tuesday March 21, 2023 filed nomination forms to contest May 13, 2023 National Democratic Congress (NDC) parliamentary primaries of the Awutu Senya East Constituency in the Central Region.
Mrs Tetteh, a teacher, trade unionist and an insurance underwriter was accompanied by her campaign team, ward coordinators and branch executives in the constituency to submit her nomination forms.
She also submitted other relevant documents to the Awutu Senya East Constituency NDC elections Committee, which has given her a legal backing to contest the parliamentary primaries on the ticket of the NDC with a determination to win the NDC parliamentary election hands down.
Speaking in an interview with Soireenews.com, after filing her nomination forms, Mrs Tetteh described herself as a grassroot member of the NDC and advised delegates and members of the NDC to elect competent candidate like herself who have the members and delegates of the party at heart.
She added that “As a grassroots activist, Awutu Senya East requires a candidate who identifies herself with the grassroots and can work tirelessly to bring NDC into power and has etermined to win the Awutu Senya East seat which has been occupied by Mrs.Mavis Hawa Koomson for some years now.
According to her, the rationale behind her intention to run for Parliament is because she wants an opportunity to serve her people, saying that there are pieces of documentary envidence which clearly shows that the NPP under Mrs. Mavis Hawa Koomson administration has performed abysmally in the constituency
She said members of the NDC in the Awutu Senya East Constituency must give her the mandate because she is a servant leader, saying that she is the only hope that would help the NDC to win the parliamentary seat in the 2024 general elections.
"I have decided to contest the election on the ticket of the NDC because the NDC in the Awutu Senya East Constituency has be called orphan constituency for three consecutive times and we don't want it to happen again.
"We, the supporters and members of the NDC in the Awutu Senya East Constituency are ready for the 2024 general elections. The Awutu Senya East NDC needs a candidate who can win the parliamentary seat one time. And not just wining the seat one time but would retain the seat in the coming years and ensure that the needed development that the supporters and members of the NDC in the constituency needs is achieved.
"Again Ghanaians in general are tired of the abysmal performance of the NPP under President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and so women and children are crying. The youths don't have works in the Awutu Senya East constituency and the constituency needs a candidate that would come and address these problems facing them. The constituency needs a grassroot member and person who knows the plights of the delegates and members of the NDC in the constituency.
"The constituency needs a grassroot person who feels their pains and that is Dina Tetteh. That are reasons l am coming to ensure that we win the seat from the NPP and win it one time and win it forever," she reassured .
She stressed that she is the only best person the delegates must vote for to win the NDC Parliamentary primary because she is the only grassroot person who understands the plights of the delegates.
The aspiring MP, with experience in trade unionism spanning a decade added that she has the welfare of the delegates of the party in the area at heart.
"Dina Tetteh is contesting the NDC parliamentary primaries and Dina Tetteh is going to win the election hands down," she assured.
Mrs Tetteh promised to serve diligently to work with all persons irrespective of one’s status because she believes in team work.
She indicated that she is a dignified candidate, whose love and service to the umbrella fraternity has never been in doubt.
“I’m inherently humane, service oriented, execution driven, trade unionist, resourceful, versatile and above all enabler,” she added.
She emphasized that as part of her vision, she would prioritize the welfare and livelihoods of individuals of members, supporters and party faithfuls in the constituency.
She urged all members of the party to forge ahead in unity to reclaim political power in the 2024 elections.
“NDC must forge ahead in unity for the party members to work assiduously for victory in 2024, to resolve the increasing hardship being visited on Ghanaians by the Akufo-Addo administration,” Mrs Dina Tetteh said.
She stressed “if given the nod, she will collaborate with stakeholders to ensure progress, growth, development of the area, establish an educational fund to support and assist pupils and students in gaining formal employment in the private and public sectors of the country.
“I will work with constituency executives in the spirit of broader stakeholder consultation through quarterly consultative meetings, prioritise the peace, unity and harmony of the party for the 2024 elections and beyond,” Mrs Tetteh reassured.
The aspiring MP, with experience in trade unionism spanning a decade promised to be a unifier in the constituency and appealed to delegates to vote for her during the primaries to win the seat for the NDC saying “I am appealing to the delegates to rally behind me to win the nod to contest the seat and win it for the NDC”.
Mrs Tetteh indicated that she was motivated and ready to serve her people in the constituency when given the opportunity and pledged to prioritise support and assistance for the aged in the party and residents in Awutu Senya East
On human development with priority on education, Mrs Tetteh promised to promote education in the area, encourage more people to pursue Technical Vocational Education and Training (TVET) to produce more engineers and technicians so as to improve the human resource development of the country.
Some of her achievements as a-two term Assembly Member for the Adam Nana Electoral Area were lobbying for an Electricity Company of Ghana vending point, Community-based Health Planning and Services compound at Lamptey and Adam Nana Electoral Areas, extension of water pipelines to Amuzukope, free health screening and supply of medical drugs to residents and initiated the tent city concept in Kasoa.
