NDC Parliamentary Primaries: Asikuma Odoben  Brakwa NDC Roots  For William Adu-Oduro!--As He Files Normination Forms

A young business tycoon and politician, Mr. William Adu-Oduro has received overwhelming support from a cross-section of the grassroot members and supporters including delegates of the National Democratic Congress (NDC)in the Asikuma Odoben Brakwa Constituency of the Central Region to contest incoming NDC parliamentary primaries.

The members and delegates of the NDC who expressed strong interest in Mr. Adu-Oduro want him to continue his good works and lead the party in the 2024 parliamentary election in order to retain the parliamentary seat for the NDC.

Some of the delegates and members of the NDC told the Soireenews.com that they have unanimously declared their support for Mr Adu-Oduro.

According to them, they thaught that Mr Adu-Oduro is the only hope that would help the NDC to retain the parliamentary seat in the 2024 general elections due kind of works he has done in the various electoral areas within the constituency.

The delegates and members of the party stated that Mr. Adu-Oduro has proven to be a good leader and a father for all, hence will prefer him to lead the party into the 2024 general elections in Asikuma Odoben Brakwa Constituency.

The scores of the delegates and members made this known to the Soireenews.com when Mr Adu-Oduro has successfully filled his normination forms on Monday March 20, 2023, which gives him a legal backing to contest the NDC parliamentary primaries in the area.

According to the delegates and members, looking at the vast track records and achievements of Mr Adu-Oduro, it is good that he listen to their calls to make himself available since they wanted him to contest the primaries to lead the party.

They stated that the delegates and members of the NDC in the various electoral areas within the Asikuma Odoben Brakwa Constituency which constitutes the biggest votes of the party including the floating voters are happy that Mr Adu-Oduro filed the nomination forms to contest parliamentary position because he is known to the electorate and it does not need market him during the electioneering campaign because he can retain the Parliamentary seat for the party.

Speaking in an interview with Soireenews.com after he filed his normination forms, Mr. Adu-Oduro stated that he ready to contest to the parliamentary primaries and asked the delegates and members of the party to throw their weight behind him at NDC forthcoming parliamentary primary.

That, he said, would enable him win the primary to lead the party to the 2024 general election in which he would ultimately be elected as Member of Parliament (MP) of the constitueny.

According to him, he is optimistic that he can win the parliamentary seat for NDC in the Asikuma Odoben Brakwa Constituency come 2024 general elections.

Mr Adu-Oduro reiterated that it is time for NDC to choose a candidate who can be a reliable parliamentary candidate and thereon win the parliamentary seat on the ticket of NDC in the general elections because the youth are tired of old age governance.

He emphasized that he will stay in complete unity with party executives and supporters and ensure he works hard to capture the parliamentary and presidential seat for NDC in the constituency.

He added that he has heard of other personalities within the constituency who have shown interest in the parliamentary seat because it is a vacant seat that any qualified candidate can occupy. 

He implored the delegates to ensure he is voted for to become their parliamentary candidate because the 2024 elections will be tougher as against the NPP but with him [Mr William Adu-Oduro], the NDC can defeat NPP both in the general elections.  

He explained that he is coming as a unifier with quality leadership skills and a sociable administration where all and sundry can approach the office of the MP with their grievance and be dealt with as expected.
