The Minority Leader of Ghana's Parliament, Haruna Iddrisu on behalf of the NDC caucus in parliament has told journalists that, they're very disappointed in the president for ignoring some regions in the formation of his new government, supposed to be a regional balance.

Honourable Haruna Iddrisu mentioned certain regions which are conspicuously lost in his cabinet Ministerial appointment namely the Upper East region, Oti region and Bono East Region.

According to the Tamale South MP, the list submitted to parliament by President Akufo-Addo for approval has no new thinking and no innovation but a recycled of the old people.

"The absence of some key regions not having representation in compliance with article 35 should be on the constitution," he said.

"Now that we have 16 regions, I would have expected that with his long list of 30 ministers. The Upper East Region is conspicuously lost, Oti, Bono East and that is not acceptable.

Honorable Abu Jinapor thanks President Akuffo Addo for his nomination

"He must carry the country alone if he seeks to recognise this and recognise talents and the human resources of each region of Ghana."

He asserted that president Akufo Addo doesn't have the courage to change non-performing Ministers and so, maintaining the same people means he has nothing to offer Ghanaians in the next four years.

Mr Haruna Iddrisu told that what struck them most is the ambiguous creation of the Public Enterprise Ministry explaining that ministries and public Agencies are already public enterprises because they're independent.

"It is an ambiguity.  Every ministry is a public enterprise and they are on their own and don't forget that each of the enterprises is under ministries."

The opposition Leader further indicated that the NDC is fully ready to interrogate the nominees and will carefully look into the CVs of the appointees.
