NDC is strongly united - John Mahama

Former President and Flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Dramani Mahama has assured followers of the party that he is making all the necessary in-house preparations towards the 2024 general elections to win power.

His assurance came during the party’s "thank-you tour" activities in the Volta Region where he met party folks in the region.

The former President Mahama said the NDC party is strongly united and is in the process of reorganizing the party towards the 2024 general elections.

This process according to him, is very important in order to check what went wrong during the 2020 election which brought their defeat.

“Yes, our party is  Strongly united. Our party’s front is strong and formidable. The process of the reorganization will start next year” he stated.

He further noted that the NDC party has a lot of hopes to return to power in the next elections in 2024.

“Why not? I mean for a party that went from about 4million to 6million votes, how can you say there is no hope? there’s definitely hope but not for a lot of scheming that took place, the NDC would have won the elections”.

Mr John Dramani Mahama used the opportunity to thank all Voltarians for their support over the years and urged them never to lose hope but stay together and pray for the NDC party to come back to power.

He appealed to all party folks within the various constituencies to work together devoid of hatred against each other.
