NDC Is Certainly Going To Lose 2024 Polls With Asiedu Nketiah Chairmanship-Kimtapo North NPP Communications Director

The Communications Director of the New Patriotic Patty (NPP) in the Kintampo North Constituency, Mr. Kwabena Amoako Frimpong porpularly known as Popa, has stated that the National Democratic Congress (NDC) is certainly going to lose both the presidential and parliamentary elections in the 2024 under the chairmanship of Mr. Johnson Asiedu Nketiah.

"The National Chairman of the opposition NDC, Chairman Johnson Asiedu Nketia who was until becoming the national chairman had served as the longest serving General Secretary of the NDC is poised to lead the opposition NDC into another humiliating defeat come 7th December, 2024.
"One does not need a magician or a rocket scientist to forsee the Chairman Asiedu Nketia led National Executives are preparing to keep the NDC in opposition for another four years with the current happenings in the party as the party seems to have lost control of its minority causcus in Parliament," the NPP outspoken Communication officer has predicated.

Mr. Frimpong's lastest prediction was contained in an article he has written and copied to this online news outlet in Accra.

According to him, it is now a known fact that the decision taken by the National Executives which was championed by Mr Nketia to change Haruna Iddrisu and Muntaka as leaders of the minority in parliament was just a mere hatred for these two Leaders of the minority simply because it was believed that Haruna Iddrisu and Muntaka never supported the national Chairmanship bid of Asiedu Nketia and it is also believed that he supports the bid of Dr Kwabena Duffour ahead of Mahama.
He pointed out that Iddrisu leadership in parliament was called to question as minority leader during the confirmation of appointees of the President as Ministers and Deputy Minister's, as the leadership was accused of having taking bribes to confirm the Minister's with all sort of unprintable words used to describe him by known loyalist of former President Mahama , Sammy Gyamfi their National Communication Officer .
He mentioned that Haruna Iddrisu was accused of doing the bidden of President Akufo-Addo by helping government buisness is parliament to go through. One wonders why the opposition NDC thinks that holding the government to ransom in parliament paves way for the opposition NDC to win the next elections.
From the recent happenings in parliament with the confirmation of 6 nominee's of President Akuffo Addo, Mr Frimpong stated that the question one would want to ask is that has the new leadership of the minority also taken bribes before confirming all these Minister's? So it's clear that the decision to change Haruna Iddrisu and Muntaka was just to give a dog a bad name and then hung it.

He indicated that now the new leadership of the minority in parliament is accusing  Northern Region MPs who are known supporters of Haruna Iddrisu as sabotaging their mandate.
He alleged that Chairman Asiedu Nketia sole motive of becoming the National Chairman was basically to control the Soul and Spirit of the party as he wanted to become the leader of the party at all cost knowing very well that there was no way former President Mahama was going to select him as his running mate ahead of Prof Naana Jane.
According to Mr Frimpong, it was funny understanding the motive behind that directive issued by the party asking its members in parliament not to approve of the ministers, knowing very well that among the 6 nominee's there were 5 of them in the Current Parliament of which the NDC leadership should have known that MPs don't normally vote against their colleague MPs in Parliament.
He asserted that the NDC supporters were deceived to believe that there was no way these Minister's were going to be approved.
"How could anyone in the NDC have thought that the Northern Region MPs were going to vote against their fellow Northern MP, Dr Mohammed Amin Adam to become the Minister of State at the finance ministry who is also in parliament now? he asked.
According to him, a party in opposition led by its National Chairman Asiedu Nketia who wants to win power at all cost with such a divided front. It's now seen that all those loyalist of Former President Mills and former President Rawlings like Koku Anyidoho and Alottey Jacobs have been ousted from the party simply because Chairman Aseidu Nkatiah does not see eye to eye with them.
He rethorically asked that "If any NDC supporter thinks the current leadership of the NDC led by Chairman Asiedu Nketia is going to win election 2024, then that person must take a second look at that again because its never going to happen.
He further asked "As a General Secretary for about 17 years who couldn’t help the party to collate election results in 2016 and 2020, only to later come and blame the National chairman Ofosu Ampofo just so that he becomes the national chairman, when in actual fact,he served as the chief executive officer for the party where all such falls directly under his perview."
