The retrained incumbent National Democratic Congress (NDC) Chairman in Jaman North constituency of the Bono Region, Mr. Sah Abraham, has given assurance that he would continue to work hard to help bring more happiness to NDC and ensure that those who left the party were brought back to help the party win the 2024 general elections.
Speaking in an interview with Soireenews.com, after he was declared the winner by the officials of the Electoral Commission (EC) on Saturday October 22, 2022, Mr Abraham expressed his profound appreciation to the delegates and members of the NDC for their confidence reposed in him by way of voting massively for him to renew his chairmanship position.
"The big vote margins l have obtained to win the championship race today in the NDC internal constituency executives election clearly showed that it is an endorsement of mandate so l would not you down and that l would work to ensure that our party win the presidential seat and also maintain the parliamentary seat in the 2024 polls," the NDC top shot assured.
Mr Abraham congratulated his followers, sympathizers, supporters including his campaign team members for making him to retain the chairmanship position, saying that he is going to reward them accordingly.
He further thanked the officials of the Electoral Commission (EC) for their efforts to ensure free, fair and transparent constituency executives election in the area, reiterating that "congratulations to everyone who were matters in this NDC internal constituency executives election."
In this sense, he renewed his promises to work with all and sundry to continue to bring peace, unity to the party in the constituency.
He described his reelection together with the new executives as “sign of the victory for the NDC in the 2024 general elections, adding the party would re- capture the parliamentary seat in 2024 general elections.
He added that the crop of executives who were elected indicate that “the good people of Jaman North are ready for election 2024.
To him, the incumbent MP has more chance to win because the NDC faithfuls are poised to retain the parliamentary seat.
He promised to allow every individual to display his or her God-given talent” to reorganize the party, stressing that he would invite persons who lost in the just ended constituency elections as well as former party officials to bring fore their expertise to help unify the party.
“My able team and I are in for nothing but to retain the parliamentary seat and also make sure that the party the presidential election in the 2024 and make Jaman North the stronghold of NDC again,” he reaffirmed.
To this end Mr Abraham encouraged all rank and file of the NDC in the constituency to support the processes to unite the party for victory in the 2024 polls.
