The National Police Training School (NPTS) in Ghana has completed the initial training of 425 General recruits in the Greater Accra Region.

According to the Director-General/Administration, COP Dr Goerge Akuffo-Dampare, the passing out of Police Officers marks the start of a new chapter in their careers.

At the National Police Training School (NPTS) in Accra on Friday, June 18, 2021, COP Dr Dampare told officers, recruits, and the press that the 425 general recruits have concluded the school's basic training. 

He further thanked the NPTS commanding officer and his crew for their efforts in preparing them. 

Finally, he complimented all of the prize recipients, especially the overall best recruit, PW/R Agyapong Owusua Alberta for her efforts.

“We thank you for training them as we’re seeing today. It is my hope and prayer that you will continue this exercise of producing the men and women of our noble profession,” he said

“It is also my single privilege on behalf of the NPTS and the police administration to commend you the recruits and your comportment,” he added

“Go out and make your family, school and the country proud," he stated.
