National Coordinator for Ghana School Feeding Fired

The Ministry of Gender, Children and Social Protection has terminated the appointment of the National Coordinator for the Ghana School Feeding Programme, Madam Gertrude Quashigah.
In a statement sighted by Soireenews signed by the sector Minister, Honourable Sarah Adwoa Safo directed the outgoing coordinator to immediately hand over official documents to the Chief Director of the Ministry.
"This is to inform you of the termination of your appointment as National Coordinator of the Ghana School Feeding Programme with immediate effect.
"With no reason for the termination, Madam Gertrude will be paid one month salary.
"You will be paid one months salary in line of notice as stipulated in your contract agreement".
"Kindly hand over any official documents or property in your custody to the Chief Director of the Ministry". The statement said.
This portal has however gathered that Madam Gertrude dismissal follows allegations of fraud that has bedevilled the Ghana School Feeding Programme by the Hawk Newspaper.
