Ghanaian TV presenter, Nana Aba Anamoah, has registered her Range Rover under the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Authority (DVLA), effectively avoiding the 12 months jail term set for individuals who drive unregistered cars.

The DVLA officially released a statement that the plate number on her new Range Rover which was gifted on her birthday was a fake one and was therefore unsuitable for use as it was unregistered.

Nana Aba Anamoah narrated how she immediately got in touch with her anonymous benefactor who immediately put the blame on the car dealership boys he/she had contacted to get the car in the first place.

“The person was shocked. He said he paid for the car via a dealership and asked for it to be delivered. It was a new unregistered car and he was not aware of any number plate — let alone to be that of another car,” she said.

“The minute we established that the boys at the dealership had done this on the frolic of their own, I reported the case to the Police — and proceeded to the DVLA on 22 June 2020 to properly register the car. The police are currently looking for the boys.”

She has now silenced her critics by registering the car under the plate number, N 1-20. Changing it from the fake GR 2050 - 20. The media personality made sure she released the documents to prove her haters wrong.

She also shared a screenshot of her registered documentation.
