The President of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwa-Akufo Addo has expressed goodwill to Ghanaians as the country celebrate its Constitutional Day.

The President took to his social media handle to wish citizens a Public Holiday.

 

 

The Founder's day is celebrated in commemoration of the birthday of Dr. Kwame Nkrumah, the first President of Ghana. The Day is a designated Public Holiday and is observed on 7 January of every year.

“Today we celebrate the most prolonged period of stable, constitutional rule in the history of Ghana, and acknowledged our collective efforts, as a country, in upholding the tenets of democracy, the rule of law and the principles of constitutionalism,” he wrote.
