The Bono Regional Chairman for the Convention Peoples Party (CPP), Ali Dayinde has called on the government and President Nana Addo Danqua Akufo Addo to fight the illegal mining from within since people in his government are involved.

According to Mr Deyinde, key people in his government are deeply involved in the menace of destroying the environment and per his notion, arresting such perpetrators and prosecuting them is the only way to serve as a deterrent to others.

He accused the government of sending Charles Bissue to the office of the President after been exposed in a documentary targeting Galamseyers when speaking on issues with Kwasi Kyei Baffour monitored by Soiree News Nana Ama Asiedu.

Chairman Dayinde however said charity begins at home as he was quick to add that he is not happy with the burning of the excavators since they can be used for proper uses.
