Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has called on all New Patriotic Party (NPP) supporters to remain calm and wait on the Electoral Commission to declare the winner of the elections.

The President of the Republic of Ghana took to his Facebook page to assure fans that victory is in the hands of the incumbent government, hence the need to be reasonable and considerate.

“Dear NPP Supporter, When you win an election, you don't need to be aggressive.

“Be of good character and wait for the Electoral Commission to declare.

“And when you jubilate, be moderate and sensitive to public order and safety.
