Nana Addo, Bawumia to join Islamic thanksgiving service today

President-elect, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and Vice-President-elect, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia will join Muslims today, December 11, at the Central Mosque at Abossey Okai in Accra for a thanksgiving prayers session.

The thanksgiving prayers organised by the leadership of the New Patriotic Party is to express gratitude to the almighty Allah for a successful election as well as the re-election of President Akufo-Addo and Vice President Bawumia into office to continue with their second term.

The National Chief Imam, Sheikh Osman Nuhu Sharubutu will lead the thanksgiving prayers after Jummah (Friday congregational prayers) at the Central Mosque.

The NPP has also planned a Christian version of the thanksgiving service on Sunday, November 13, 2020.
