NABCO Trainees  Take On Govt Over  Unpaid Of Ten Mouth  Allowances
The President of the Nation Builders Corps (NABCO) trainees association of Ghana (NABTAG), Mr. Dennis Opoku Katakyie, has bemoaned the government's inability to pay the  ten months' allowances due to them on time.
Speaking in an interview with Kessben FM Mr.  Katakyie indicated that it is unfortunate for government to engage them to work for over 10 months without paying them their stipends due them.
He explained that after the extension of their three years contract with the government which ended last September, they have worked for over 10 months with only one month of their allowances paid.
He mentioned that they appreciate the effort of the government for giving them employment opportunities but they are not impressed with how issues relating to their allowances are being handled with the payment of only 1 month out of 10 months unpaid allowances.
He called on government to pay them the remaining 9 months' allowances at the end of this month October.
