Naaa Kugbilson Nanlebtang retains position as Upper East Regional Council of State Member
Paramount Chief of the Talensi Traditional Area Tongraan Naab Kugbilson Nalebegtang accumulated 19 votes, beating four others in the council of state election after 30 total votes cast

Paramount Chief of the Talensi Traditional Area Tongraan Naab Kugbilson Nalebegtang has been re-elected to represent the Upper East Region at the Council of State.
This is the second time the revered traditional ruler has been elected as the Upper East Regional Representative at The Council.
He accumulated 19 votes, beating four others in the election after 30 total votes cast.
Pe Ditundini Adiali Thomas-More, the Paramount Chief of the Chiana Traditional Area and currently the President of the Upper East Regional House of Chiefs polled 6 votes, Mr Akamboe Ayirebasia- 5 votes.
But, Mr. Akurugu Eric Aligiyelah and Mr. Yaw Mort had zero votes
