My objectives were to construct a superior home for my mother and refrain from donning pricey clothing- Kuami Eugene

Kuami Eugene, a multiple award-winning musician, has shared one of his greatest aspirations that inspired him to pursue a career in music.

Kuami Eugene has been transparent about his daily hardships and some of the hardest choices he has ever had to make. Kuami Eugene claims that his sole objective is to improve his mother's home.

Kuami Eugene revealed in Twitter Space with Sincerely Accra Podcast how it breaks his heart when he is made fun of for his bad fashion sense.

The highlife musician claimed that because he does not come from a wealthy family, he had to reduce his spending in order to save money to build a better house for his mother and to provide for his family.

Believe me when I say that I had nothing when I arrived at Lynx Entertainment.

You can't compare me to some of the artists I came with because they were staying at their parents' house and my parents weren't wealthy.

I shared an apartment with my mother, father, siblings, and other family members. We were all unable to accept it.

"Believe me, I was trying to piece things together while everyone was raving about my shoes and clothing at the moment.

You can't compare the two of us since I had to travel to Kantamanto to put together the items that these other artists had to go to the shop to put together.

According to Kuami Eugene, his main goal is to improve the lives of his family members. He also expressed his happiness that his mother is doing better.

Finding a suitable home for my mother to stay was my first thought.

In order for me to speak English so well now, my mother must have given me an excellent education, therefore I wasn't considering what to wear but rather how to improve her life.

Before considering donning a Louis Vuitton bag or a lovely t-shirt that will cost about GHC 200, I had to find a better place for her to stay. Back then, it was too much for me, Kuami Eugene said.
