Gifty Mawuenya Nkornu, wife of Ghanaian actor and political aspirant John Dumelo says she's her husbands love for country is greater than the love he has for her because of the plans he has for his country. 

She made this revelation on their one-year anniversary and released the video as they both celebrated one full year of marital happiness. The two tied the knot in a beautiful wedding ceremony, a year today, May 11, 2019 at the Royal Senchi Resort.

Because you wake up every day and talk about the plans you’ve got for Ghana and sometimes it bores me a little but I’ll work together with you and we’ll both achieve that together,” she shared a new video on her Instagram page from their exchange of vows a year ago.

John Dumelo's political ambitions have never been kept secret as he picked up forms to contest the parliamentary primaries for the Ayawaso West Wougon seat in the 2020 elections.

He won with a landslide at the primaries and has since engaged in several campaign events and donations hoping to take his dream a step further to become the Member of Parliament (MP) for the area.
