Muslims Must  Embrace Peace,  Love And Tolerance -Atiwa West DCE

The District Chief Executive (DCE) for Atiwa West District Assembly, Mr. Seth Asante  has congratulated Muslims in the district on the occasion of Eid-El-Fitr celebration of the end successful completion of the Ramadan fast.

The DCE used the occasion to seek prayers for the nation’s leadership for good governance and hoped that the supplications of Muslim brothers and sisters be accepted and may the blessings of Ramadan abide with us, as a country.

Speaking at the celebration event at Kwabeng Mosque Mr. Asante wished all Muslims the blessings and guidance of Allah.

He urged Muslims to embrace peace, love, tolerance, and sacrifice which were the exemplary virtues of the Holy Prophet Mohammed.

He also wished Muslim Residents in Atiwa West District Eid Mubarak and expressed his joy over the peaceful and tolerant nature admonished to the Community.

On his part, the Kwabeng Chief Imam, Named Linmam Inlow commended the Atiwa West DCE for joining the District Muslim Prayers.

He indicated that the Ramadan fasting had in the last one month inculcated the virtues of patience, devotion, self-control, humility, kindness, forgiveness, and other virtues of Islam that should be extended beyond the month of Ramadan for a just and peaceful society.

Kwabeng Chief Immam admonished the  Kwabeng Muslims to sustain the spirit and lessons gained from the Ramadan period to further promote the peace, unity, and progress of the nation.

The Kwabeng Chief Immam, further said the lessons taught during Ramadan and learned during the Holy month by the Muslim faithful would continue to shape their daily lives for a better relationship with their creator and fellow human beings.

He prayed to Allah for a peaceful and pleasant Leadership of the Nation stressing, that the significance of the Islamic event towards the enhancement of peace, unity, and progress of the nation is assured and also urged them to remain peaceful and law-abiding.
