Ghanaian musician, Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jnr., well known as Shatta Wale has lamented that the Ghanaian music industry is full of competition among players and musicians.

While throwing his weight behind Sarkodie over his recent sentiments about the Ghanaian media landscape criticizing Ghanaian musicians, Shatta Wale said that the music industry is mostly inspired by controversies and competitions.

Shatta Wale lamented bitterly that the pioneers of the Ghana music industry have managed to create an industry full of beef and controversies.

Shatta Wale who is known to be one of the most controversial musicians in the music industry also lamented that Ghanaian media personalities have no moral right to criticize musicians when they have no idea how they make their music.

This was after Sarkodie argued that the figures in the Ghanaian media landscape lack the moral authority to advise or condemn Ghanaian musicians about how to manage their music brands.

Sarkodie added that because they are unaware of the nature of musicians’ careers as entertainers, it is quite simple for Ghanaian media figures and entertainment experts to condemn them harshly.
