MTTD seeks Court ban on some tricycle riders for one year
Supt. Stephen Tenkorang, Regional Boss of Motor Traffic and Transport has revealed that the police will ensure that those who have been ban from driving for one year will do so.

The Bono Regional boss for Motor Traffic and Transport Directorate( MTTD ) Supt. Stephen Tenkorang has revealed that the court has banned some tricycle riders after failing to obey road traffic regulation in the Sunyani Municipality.
Speaking with Soireenews, the MTTD Boss said the court also fined some of the culprits an amount of GH₵600 to GH₵900 Ghana cedis depending on their offence.
While some were charged with not having licence others were also accused of not having wealth corticated as well as hit with the offence of overloading.
According to him, the police will ensure that those who have been ban from driving for one year will do so.
He added that tricycle riders are the number one cause of road crash in the Region and out of the 23 people who perished as a result of accidents from January to March in the Bono Region, the source of 16 were through motorbikes.
