The Minister for Roads and Highways has assured that, the department of urban roads will undertake engeering studies in the third quarter of 2021.

The Member of Parliament for Dadekotopon Constituency, Honourable Ms Rita Naa Odoley Sowah has filed a parliamentary question, seeking from the Minister responsible for Roads and Highways when the road network of the flagstaff house house residential barracks (opposite the jubilee house), in the Dadekotopon constituency will be asphated.

Responding to the question, the Minister for Roads and Highways, Honourable Kwasi Amoako Atta indicated that, the road network in question is not part of the development of urban roads road.

According to the road minister, it is a local access road network within the police barracks opposite the jubilee house.

Meanwhile the Minister disclosed to the member of parliament for the area that, there is no current maintainace intervention, that is, upgrading or rehabilitation program for the aforementioned road network.

He assured Honourable Ms Rita Naa Odoley Sowah that, the department of urban roads will undertake engeering studies in the third quarter of 2021 to determine the appropriate intervention and thereafter consider implementation when funds are available.
