MP pays Gh¢27,700 for 8 years Cancrum Oris patient's surgery

The Member of Parliament (MP) for Asikuma Odoben Brakwa constituency, Alhaji Alhassan Kobina Ghansah has paid Gh¢27,700 for the surgery of 8 years Cancrum Oris patient called Richard Mensah in the Central Region.

The Member of Parliament (MP) for Asikuma Odoben Brakwa constituency, Alhaji Alhassan Kobina Ghansah has paid Gh¢27,700 for the surgery of 8 years Cancrum Oris patient called Richard Mensah in the Central Region.

The MP’s donation is in relation to an appeal made earlier on by the family to support the surgery of their son.

Richard Mensah was diagnosed with Cancrum Oris infection who Needed an amount of GHC 27,700 To Undergo Plastic Surgery.

The family led by Ivy Taylor then raised an appeal for funds for the Cancrum Oris patient’s surgery.

According to Ivy Taylor, the family of Mensah, the family initially had about Gh¢19,000 but now that the MP has paid for everything they will use it for an investment for the patient.

She revealed also that, the Breman, the Asikuma Odoben Brakwa Traditional Council also donated Gh¢20,000 whiles Breman Charity donated Gh¢7,025 and some other individuals also donated through Mobile Money.
