MP For South Dayi Donates Two Conditioners To Kpeve SHTS
THE National Democratic Congress Member of Parliament (MP) for South Dayi Constituency in the Volta Region, Honourable Rockson-Nelson Etse Kwami Dafeamekpor Esq, has displayed his commitment to improving education in his constituency.

The hardworking MP has donated two conditioners to the Senior High Technical School (SHTS) in the Volta Region.
This move, according to the MP, is part of the efforts to ensure the students in the constituency are provided with the needed infrastructure to improve the conducive environment to make teaching and learning easy.

The MP used the opportunity to assure his constituents of his commitment to ensuring that education is top-notch and the needed infrastructure would be provided to make teaching and working easy.
It would be recalled that the Kpeve SHTS was one of a few senior high schools in the country selected by the government for the supply of 40 computers for their school's ICT laboratory.
Conditions required for the supply include, availability of ICT lab, fixing of burglar proof,
laying of woolen carpet, repainting of the lab and and installation of AC.
The school satisfied all the required conditions except the installation of the air conditioner.
However, several appeals were made to well meaning personalities for the school to meet a deadline but to no avail.

On the 8th July, 2024, the MP for South Dayi Constituency Rockson-Nelson Etse Kwami Dafeamekpor Esq  was informed about the deadline, which was 12th July, 2024 by the school's management.
For the school not to miss that golden opportunity, the lawmaker procured two air conditioners and donated it to Kpeve SHTS on Friday 12th July, 2024.
The donation was done on behalf of the legislator, the constituency vice chairman
Mr. Courage Kokroko and the constituency deputy organizer Alhaji Sulley Shaibu in the presence of the district director of education Mr. Prosper Yevu and PRO Rev. Gershon Atsu Agbo at a school gathering.
The headmaster of the school Mr. Paul Hahayi Keteku who received the donation for the school, expressed gratitude to the lawmaker for his timely intervention and promised to take care of the ACs, maintain them and use them for the intended purpose.
He also appealed to the lawmaker for
Honourable Dafeamekpor Esq. to visit the school regularly to motivate students and also to be appreciated by management and staff for his support over the years.
"We're extremely grateful to God Almighty for making it possible. We are most thankful to you, Honourable MP. We are also thanking the South Dayi Constituency Executives, the Branch Executives and the entire NDC fraternity for playing their roles to making the program more successful," he stated.
