MP for Sissela West Donates Items to Hilla Limann SHS, After Heavy Down Pour

The Member of Parliament for the Sissala West Constituency in the Upper West Region, Honourable Mohammed Adams Sukparu has paid a courtesy call to Dr Hilla Limann Senior High School after a rainstorm caused havoc to the Institution last Sunday.
The heavy downpour riped portions of the school building including classrooms and dormitories.
In view of this, the student had their books, gari and number of foodstuffs soaked and further displaced a number of the Student body. Responding to the plight of the students, the Member of Parliament for the Sissala West Constituency donated assorted items to the school worth ¢9,000
The items included two bags of Gari, two bags of Sugar, Twenty cartons of soap, Eleven cartons (2,080 pieces) of Exercise books, One Thousand (1,000) pieces of pens and five cartons (120 boxes) of sanitary pads for the female students.
The District Education Director, Mr Adama Abubakar received the items on behalf of the school and handed them over to the Assistant Headmistress of the school.
The legislator appealed to stakeholders to come to the aid of the school as the school authority battles with the situation.
He however charged the students body to take their studies serious and never relent in pursuing their dreams.
