MP for Asikuma Odoben Brakwa Present 96 street bulbs to Assembly members
The main reason for the presentation of street lights by the Member of Parliament is to reduce the crime rate in the Constituency during this year's Christmas.

The Member of Parliament for Asikuma Odoben Brakwa Constituency in the Central Region, Honourable Alhaji Alhassan Kobina Ghansah has presented 96 Street Bulbs to the 32 elected Assembly members in the district to be fixed at the various electoral areas.
The main aim of this agenda is to reduce the crime rate in the Constituency during this year's Christmas.
He told that during Christmas eras, the crime rate normally shoot up due to the low spread of light in the various areas hence his decision.
He added that it will also help decrease prostitution which normally happens in dark areas.
Honourable Alhaji Alhassan Kobina Ghansah also advised the Assembly members to fix the street bulbs at places of convenience to serve its intended objective. He notified them to write him a report after fixing the lights to encourage him to bring another.
The assembly members thanked him and asked for more.
