Ghanaian Actor Majid Michel has updated his preach on Instagram saying, many get the wrong idea over the meaning of faith.

According to him, Abraham, David, Mosses, Paul, and many others stood close in Gods heart not because of their goodness but because of how they gave pleasure to Him (God). He expounded that works of men is not the definite vision of God but dedication and commitment to His work.

“Abraham lied about his wife twice and was willing to let people commit adultery with her to save his neck. when his wife suggested, go in to my hand maid, there was zero argument, he just went straight in there. Abraham did not do everything the way that it should be done and yet he was the friend of God. Moses killed a man thinking that he was doing the will of God”.

“Moses wrote the first 5 Books of the Bible as well as psalms 90. David murdered a man to cover up his adultery and he wrote all of psalms and then 1st and 2nd Samuel, 1st kings and 1st chronicles was all written about David. Paul killed people and yet Paul says in acts 24:16... “And herein do i exercise myself, to have always a conscience void of offence toward God, and toward men.”

“And yet he had murdered people. Paul had to assure his heart. Paul convinced himself. And really we are saved the same as Paul but the only difference is we haven’t all assured our hearts. Hebrews 11:5 By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God.”

“Think about this. He wasn’t even a New Testament born again man. He still had a spirit that was separated from God. This is even before the Abrahamic Covenant. This is before a lot of things and yet Enoch went around saying i please God. a man who had dealt with his conscience to such a degree that he was able to say I please God, just so happens he got translated and never died. He Just got caught up in heaven. Can you boldly say you please God? Most people don’t understand that faith is what actually pleases God.”

“it said Enoch had a testimony, meaning it’s what he actually said to people “i please God”!! We should be able through Jesus say .... “i please God” without your conscience smiting you. Without your conscience making you feel unworthy. This is available to us through Jesus and most of us are not taking advantage of it. You cannot get your conscience cast out of you, but you can renew it. You need a clear conscience to have a kind of Faith that pleases God. Purge your conscience so you can please God Boldly”.
