Modern artists are extremely lazy as a result of technology - Afriyie Wutah

According to Ghanaian singer Frank Osei, better known by his stage name Afriyie Wutah, new technology has made the current generation of musicians lazy.

The highlife singer revealed in an interview with Showbiz on Property FM that many of the new generation of artists no longer seek the assistance of voice coaches and trainers because of the overuse of technology.

He told Showbiz On Property FM, "I believe technology has encouraged laziness to take hold, so you don't have people hiring voice coaches, voice trainers, like we did in the past.

The instrumentalist told the host, Amansan Krakye, that although technology has made music production more exciting, outstanding songs are no longer written by musicians.

The best aspect of this period, he added, is how technology has made music production easier and more exciting than in the past.

On Property Radio in Cape Coast, he continued, "Right now a lot of musicians don't have time to settle down and compose great songs unlike before, so now people are singing more hooks.

Now they simply add more beats where two words, such as Odo yewu, are present, and once people start leaping and dancing to it, it is over.
