Miss Gonja in the Gonja Traditional area of the Savannah Region, Adam Latifa, with support from Miss Musilimah Ghana has organised skills training exercise for women in the Bole District aimed to empower women economically in the area.

The training which took place at the Bole community centre brought together about fifty (50) women across different Communities in the district.

Adam Latifa in an interview with the media said the initiative intends to reduce poverty among women in the area.

She encouraged the trainees to make good use of the knowledge learnt after undergoing training in soap making, air freshener, hand sanitiser and among others.

Miss Hawa Alidu who is the Chief Executive Officer of Miss Musilimah Ghana called on the people of Bole to support Adams Latifa in her project which concentrates on female empowerment.

A beneficiary, Adam Fadila on behalf of her colleagues thanked the organizers and advised her colleagues to put more seriously in the training.
