The Commanding Officer of Armour Training School in Sunyani of the Bono Region, Lt Col. Dominic Duah has stated that the Military High Command is committed to ensuring discipline in the service.

According to him, the military and its high command are respected institutions in the country and it will not play loose when it comes to discipline and enforcement of the law.

The Commanding Officer Lt. Col. Dominic Duah said this in an interview at the Military Recruit Boxing Completion in Sunyani, the boxing competition forms part of the Six-month training of the recruit.

The Commanding Officer explained that he is impressed with the performance so far because for the past five months, the school has transformed the young male and females to become officers and men of the Ghana Arm Forces to build on the solid security of the country.

According to him, the recruit has one month to end their training and he believes they will continue to follow the rules and regulations of the service because the military high command will not hesitate to deal with any recruit.

The third Garrison Commander Lt. Col. Kofi Obiri Yeboah who was the special guest of honour at the program stated that boxing is to prepare the recruit in the field of their service in the absence of a gun.

He urged the recruit to stay focused as they are about to end their training because the last days are dangerous looking at the number of training activities which has been to line up towards their graduation.
