The Methodist Church Ghana, Bohyen Circuit on Wednesday, January 1, 2020 held a mass induction service for leaders in the Church at Barekese and Bohyen respectively to rekindle the Holy Spirit in the church.

According to the Superintendent Minister of the circuit, Very Rev. Joseph Odei Afrifah, since authorities are pillars of the God's church, it was necessary to rekindle and impart them for the church's revival.

He also spoke on the need to induct people for God’s service and define their role in order to be actively involved in the work of the Kingdom.

“Induction has always been a part of God’s work,” he said.

“The reason for their choosing and the vision to accomplish the assigned mission is detailed before them per the yearly theme of the church. We need active laborers to fulfil a task hence the mass induction service today.”

Very Rev. Joseph Odei Afrifah enlightened that service was organized to quicken and establish a communion with God for strength to begin the New Year. Furthermore, he advised  leaders to generously work hard to save the lost and keep charge of God’s sheeps.

“We have been admonished and received the Word of God with delight. We have been told of how the earlier workers in God’s church labored through perseverance and hardship yet in all, God saw them through. We have been encouraged and look forward to living such a life to keep God’s work moving,” he added.
