The player was subbed off against Granada on Saturday after a hamstring.
Lionel Messi has started training after discomfort in his hamstring on Saturday, Marca reports.
The Argentine was substituted in the 65-minute when the Blaugranas sailed past Granada in a 4-0 win.
The 33-year old left Barcelona concerned about his health hence his second-half substitution as a precautionary measure from risking him in a long term but he has recovered and trained today, January 11, 2021.
Messi scored a brace on Saturday, as Antoine Griezmann also registered two goals to his name. Jesus Vallejo saw Red in the 78-minute and the home team played with a limited number in the final 12 minutes.
Messi is likely to be featured in the Supercopa de Espana against Real Sociedad in the semi-final on Wednesday.
The decision of whether he will renew his contract is still hanging as the Barcelona elections loom.
