Ex-beauty queen, Menaye Donkor, and wife to former Black Stars midfielder Sulley Ali Muntari, has confessed that she hid the birth of a second child because she wanted to enjoy the moment first with her family before sharing it to the world.

The ex-Miss Universe winner made this admission on GHOone Tv. The couple, who already have a five-year-old son, Jamil announced the birth of their second son On Wednesday.

“I did not intentionally hide it. But I think this time around, I just wanted to enjoy my family. I wanted peace of mind,” she stated.

“Sometimes when you post the maternity pictures, there is that kind of pressure and I was not in the frame of mind for any of that.”

Muntari, who represented Ghana at 2006, 2010, and 2014 Fifa World Cup tournaments, has also played for English side Sunderland, Italian fold Pescara, Spanish outfit Deportivo La Coruna and Saudi club Al-Ittihad.

Muntari represented Black Starlets at the 2001 Meridian Cup, including a 1–1 draw with Portugal and losing to Italy 0–1.

Muntari then was chosen for the 2001 FIFA World Youth Championship as Ghana took second place.
