The family of missing Ghanaian artiste, Castro, have set the records straight over claims flying around about Castro.

This was after a celebrity lawyer, Maurice Ampaw on Onua FM stated that his mother has been miserable since Castro went missing, even to the point where he had to give her some money just for her to keep body and soul together because all her means of livelihood came from Castro.

According to the mother, Lydia Tagoe, she has never even seen Lawyer Maurice Ampaw before, let alone receive assistance from him.

“I have never seen him before let alone he bring me money.” She maintained. Going further to debunk the claims about her being needy,

Castro's mother revealed that she is very comfortable and she is not happy with how people keep spreading malicious rumors about her and family just to gain street reputation.

“It is never true Asamoah Gyan has given me any money. I saw Asamoah Gyan the initial stage of the incident, and afterward, I have never seen him or any of his friends here in my house and I want to state on your show today, I don’t need anything from Asamoah Gyan not even money for water.”

Mr. Coffie, the father of the missing Castro, also revealed that since there is no evidence to prove that their son has died even after seven years, a funeral will not be held for him even if he does not come back.

"As I speak as the father, there is no evidence to prove that my son is dead for me to hold his funeral though the law says it can be done after seven years when the family has not found their lost member. However, that law does not bind us to hold his funeral”,

“The cowards can take the lead, but those of us who have the carriage know that whatever the situation might be, God will talk”, he said.

He finally expressed his confidence in the fact that his son is still alive and will return when he is ready.
