Mary has replied the controversial post, she explained that she was only referring to people who are using the Bible as an excuse to be lazy.

Mary Remmy Njoku had to defend herself after she was attacked for an Instagram post she made.
Mary Njoku posted that “God is not preparing you for anything, you are just suffering.”
She added in the caption, “God has given you everything you need. Stop procrastinating. Do something"
However, some felt her post was unpleasant and they called her out. Some accused her of assuming everyone who is suffering is doing so because they aren’t working hard. While some went on to tell her the only reason she stopped struggling is because she married a rich man.
