Man United Finally Accept Deal To Sell Jadon Sancho After Chelsea Links
Manchester United struck an agreement with Serie A giants Juventus over a deal for Sancho which will see him join on loan this season before completing a permanent move next summer
Manchester United have finally agreed a deal to sell winger, Jadon Sancho after he emerged as a shock transfer target for Premier League rivals Chelsea.
The Red Devils struck an agreement with Serie A giants Juventus on Wednesday, August 28, 2024, over a deal for Sancho which will see him join on loan this season before completing a permanent move next summer, according to RMC Sport.
The deal will see the England international play under Thiago Motta at Juventus, who are currently top of Serie A after two games this season.
Despite his torrid time in Manchester, Sancho attracted interest from fellow Premier League club Chelsea, who were keen to secure his signature in exchange for Raheem Sterling, who has been deemed surplus to requirements by new Stamford Bridge boss Enzo Maresca.
Sterling was ready to accept an offer to join Manchester United, which would have boosted Chelsea’s chances of signing Sancho, but the Red Devils have now agreed a deal with another club.
Man United spent £73m to sign Sancho from Borussia Dortmund in 2021.
But the 24-year-old underwhelmed at Old Trafford.
Sancho had a bust-up with manager Erik ten Hag and was sent back to Dortmund on loan last season.
