A carpenter named, Francis Brown in his 40's is suspected to have stabbed his cousin, Boampong Isaac Kojo popularly called Komfo Anokye to death on Monday night, April 12, 2021, at Buem Bodada in the Jasikan District of the Oti region.

According to report, the suspected murderer planned the killing on that fateful Monday evening out of a fight that ensued between him and the suspect resulting in both threatening to kill each other but were separated by neighbours.

In the morning on Tuesday, April 13, 2021, neighbours of the victim, Mr Issac Boampong woke up to discover him dead in a pool of blood on a  seat in front of his door with machete wounds on his legs and deep knife stabs in his stomach.

Information reaching Soireenews disclosed that the deceased was attacked on his bed but managed to seek help before he, unfortunately, gave up his ghost.

The suspect is now at large.

Meanwhile, the District Police Command at Jasikan has confirmed the incident to the media and added that investigations are ongoing.
