The police in the Eastern Region has since noticed the public over the suspected murderer Okoe and are now on the police wanted list.

The residents and Police in Teacher Mante in the Ayensuano District of the Eastern Region of Ghana are desperately on a manhunt for a young man, only identified as Okoe, for stabbing a friend to death.

The suspect allegedly pulled a knife and stabbed the late Emmanuel Appiah, now the deceased, multiple times during a misunderstanding that ensued between these friends over jewellery.

According to Teacher Mantle police, the deceased was stabbed in the chest and neck killing him instantly.

The alleged murderer, then took to his heels after committing the odious crime, even though he was pursued, but he was however managed to escape through the nearby bush.

A formal complaint has been lodged to the police who are investigating the incident.

The body of the deceased has been deposited at the morgue pending autopsy.
