Man, 28 Arrested Over Mobile Money Fraud In Oti Region

A young man identified as Samuel Doe, aged 28 has been arrested for mobile money fraud at Worawora in the Oti Region.
The suspect Samuel Doe was arrested by Lance Corporal Smith J. A Danso of Ghana Armed forces after he introduced himself to a merchant, Jacob Nharbi as a worker from MTN who has been sent from Accra to help his business flourish.
Samuel had earlier asked the merchant to enter his pin code in order for him to show the vendor how to get enough money from MTN.
Fortunately for the vendor, the soldier rescued him from the fraudster upon some interrogations where it appeared that Samuel Doe was a scammer who had wanted to use his dubious intelligence to dupe the vendor.
The soldier then arrested the suspect and handed him to the Worawora police where investigations are ongoing.
